This professorship aims to qualify our students of Geoinformatics to manage professional challenges from the practical view point of Computer Science. This
includes all activities to design, develope, program, configure,
install, and
operate GIS and similiar applications. Mainly, the focus lies on
developing databases and webbased systems. Furthermore, we work on
problems with operational data processing and parallel programming.
